July 29, 2010 --  BREEZY RIDGE STABLES COMMITTED TO HIGHEST LEVEL OF CARE

   A number of our horses suffered an unexpected and severe reaction to oral paste wormer that was routinely administered on July 14, 2010.  All affected horses were immediately treated and are at various stages of recovery.  We are working closely with our veterinarian and all our horses continue to receive the meticulous care they deserve.  New and existing clients can rest assured that we are doing our best to resume normal business operations.

   As devoted and conscientious horsemen, we are devastated that any horse suffered due to exposure to a routinely administered, name-brand product.  We are taking steps not only to care for our affected equine friends, but to address the matter with the manufacturer so that this never happens again.

   This is the only official public statement from Breezy Ridge Stables, LLC, concerning this matter.  Breezy Ridge Stables, LLC cannot comment on the accuracy of other information that may be circulating by word of mouth or Internet. 

  What We Offer

    Breezy Ridge is a full service equine facility focusing on the Eventer, Dressage, and Hunter/Jumper rider.  We are located just west of Hagerstown Maryland, on Greencastle Pike.

      Breezy Ridge Stables offers full stall boarding and full care field boarding on a limited /seasonal basis. We have two outdoor training / riding arenas. A 175' x 70' training arena and a regulation 200' x 80' lighted training / jumping arena. Our new state-of -the -art indoor arena is now open and ready for use.

     We also offer on-site riding instruction to all levels of riders. Our trainers are experienced in  hunter jumpers, eventing and dressage.
